Activating My Democracy is a free civics curriculum developed by Riki Ott, Ph.D., director of Ultimate Civics.
Our hands-on curriculum empowers students to engage their rights, move ideas into action, and protect what they love. Using games, videos, and an interactive timeline, this dynamic content lets students peer through the lens of landmark laws that have shaped our society from the Constitution to the present. These free lesson plans are aligned with C3 Framework for Social Studies Standards. Education materials include lesson plans, multimedia presentations, and group activities.
